Process & Profile

Costanti’s Brunello di Montalcino is a classic expression from one of the appellation’s most storied producers. Crafted from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grown in high-altitude vineyards surrounding Montalcino, the wine is vinified using traditional methods, including fermentation with native yeasts and long maceration. Aging takes place in large Slavonian oak casks for over three years, followed by extended bottle refinement, ensuring a harmonious balance of fruit, tannin, and acidity.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Bright red cherries, plum, violet, dried herbs, and subtle spice.

  • Palate: Medium to full-bodied with layered flavors of ripe red fruit, leather, and earthy undertones.

  • Finish: Elegant and long, with fine tannins and a fresh, mineral lift.

What Makes It Special

  • Exclusively made from estate-grown Sangiovese Grosso.

  • High-altitude vineyards contribute to remarkable freshness and aromatic intensity.

  • Traditional large-cask aging preserves varietal purity.

  • Consistently acclaimed for balance and longevity.

How to Enjoy

Serve at 60–65°F in large Burgundy-style stemware. Decant for 1–2 hours before serving to reveal its full complexity. Pairs beautifully with roasted meats, pasta with ragù, mushroom risotto, or aged Pecorino.
