Don Julio Añejo Tequila

100% Blue Weber Agave Añejo | 40% ABV (80 Proof)

Process & Profile

Don Julio Añejo Tequila is crafted in the Highlands of Jalisco using fully mature Blue Weber agave, typically aged 7–10 years before harvest. The agave is slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. It is then aged for approximately 18 months in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, producing a well-balanced spirit with rich character and refined oak influence.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Cooked agave, caramel, butterscotch, dried fruit, citrus zest

  • Palate: Silky and sweet with honey, toasted oak, vanilla, pepper, and baked pear

  • Finish: Warm and lingering with notes of oak spice, cocoa, and light tobacco

What Makes It Special
